While looking for a place to have lunch as soon as I arrived in Kyoto, I ended up exploring the enormous Setan department store adjacent to Kyoto Station. The second and third videos are from their artisanal foods for sale on the 10th FL.

This is a quick shot of Tokyo Bay and the roads and buildings just south of my hotel. The videos taken later this evening from Sushi Yasuda are in the Food Blog section. The last two videos are from the following night as I hunted down these stuffed animal toys for my niece.

Here's a series of videos taken during the Tsukiji Market tuna auction. The last video is from the above-ground train line that terminates in Toyosu nieghborhood due southeast; the fish market will be moving to a larger space here eventually.

Greetings from Seoul, South Korea! This morning I headed to the new Lotte World Tower, completed only in April of 2017, for several videos. Seoul is huge and has a similarly large population to boot.

Here are some videos showing rush hour at the famous Shibuya intersection and on the subway platforms. The video of blue and white holiday lights is from the concourse at Caretta Shiodome, near my hotel. It's an annual display.
The last video is just a quick look at the Tokyo National Museum in the park that has several art museums and the Tokyo Zoo. I ended up visiting the National Museum of Western Art the next day; it's off to the left.
These two videos are from this tiny street adjacent to Shibuya Station; like several other stations in the city, Shibuya is quite large, so finding this little alley took some time.

These videos are from the Tenjinbashi Market in Osaka. I actually stumbled across it by accident and ended up spending hours there at these two yakitori joints. This market is an amazing 1.5 miles long and is the longest market in Japan.
The last video shows bonito flakes (shavings of dried bonito fish) moving in the heat emanating from the omelette with pork belly.

This is a video of the Buddhist temple, Higashi Honganji, located near my hotel and Kyoto Station. The grounds and edifices are beautiful. I also have several videos later that evening from my dinner at Kikunoi Roan which are in the Food Blog section.
